Behind the Blend

Absinthe & Embers was shaped by memories of Prague in late November, when the cold settled into the narrow streets of Old Town. I remember outdoor cafés with fiery heaters and blankets draped over chairs, where you could linger over a drink in the crisp air as smoke from roasting meats and glowing coals drifted through the streets. Absinthe bars seemed tucked into every nook and cranny, adding to the city’s mysterious, Old World atmosphere.

Absinthe brings a cool, almost minty herbal quality to the fragrance, contrasted by the warmth of smoldering embers, while black currant adds a dark, subtly fruity richness.

Together, the notes capture the Prague I remember — Old World and romantic, slightly masculine and a little mysterious, with cool night air, something intriguing in your glass, and the lingering warmth of fire and smoke.
